Jerzy is the consumate professional in all aspects. He plays great, always on time, always impeccably dressed and groomed. Most of the time he plays over just because he'll have one or two people in the room. He is always in a good mood, and that seems to carry over to the people that visit him as he plays. Quite often people will follow him from Captain Cook's to the Plantation just because they like his playing and his personality.
Jerzy has expressed an interest in doing "Piano Bar", or just playing one room, rather than being an "Intermission Pianist". I support this idea because I belive he would 'develop' a following on each Cruise.

Jerzy is a fine pianist/Intermissionist. He has done a very good job in the Atrium, Windjammer and Las Ramblas, on his short contract here on the Norwegian Sun. The music department wishes him all the best for his vacation and for the future.

Jerzy asked me to wirte a letter of recommendation for him. When he was aboard Dawn Princess March 10, 2007 thru June 20, 2007, he fulfilled the job of Atrium Pianist in a positive manner. He also performed for the weddings on board. We enjoyed the same music so it was especially great for me. Regardless, he was able to fill the job requirements with a large repertoire of well known music. His shipboard emergency duties were fulfilled without any problems. When I was in a pinch, he was helpful without any hesitation. It demonstrated good team spirit when that trenspired.

Jerzy Cierpialek has worked on board m. v. Discovery as a Cocktail Pianist during our Summer Season in 2006. Jerzy has proved himself to be honest, punctual and trustworthy during his time on board the m. v. Discovery. He has proved very popular with our guests and was always greeted warmly and much appreciated in whichever location he played in. Mr Cierpialek is clearly a very talented individual and we would happily recommend him to any prospective employer and wish him every success in the future.
